Mike made it back to his FOB safe & sound. I just got off the phone with him. He sounded good, tired but good. He is glad to be back "home" per se....1) because it took forever for him to finally get there, 2) because it's one day closer that he gets to come home for good! I know I've already said this but........... It's a GREAT feeling seeing the "headed home" counter in the double digits!

Ah, Kym I am so sad for you and happy at the same time. I know that you had a great time with Mike and I know that those memories are going to totally get you through the next (very short) 97 days!! If you get bored, or stressed or sad, you can totally vent to me and you can also give me any ideas you have for a wedding that I am trying to plan in "my Mike's" absence. I am excited, but it's not as much fun w/out him...and I know how you feel!! Oh, I have so much to catch up with you on so I'll email over this weekend, ok? Take care and keep your chin up. You look so happy and BEAUTIFUL in that new picture - you ARE doing some things right girl!

I am FCC Holland and headed to JCCS-1 soon (real soon)...perhaps my wife will benefit from a 'support' group like this, you know, a place to vent/share her experiences. Maybe she/we will open up blog too...if i can get an email for 'your' mike (FCC Type) that would be helpful for me as i prepare for deployment (again)....mine is rahwin2@aol.com
